Classroom training is the time-honored ideal way to learn.But salon training (solarium training) in the classroom isn’t right for everyone.It’s not always available in your area or when you need it.Your schedule might be so tight that to dedicate a single block of time lasting several hours is difficult.
That’s where online training comes in.You can start your tanning training, pause frequently and take a few months if needed, to complete the entire program.Most students are able to complete the program in several hours of total dedicated time.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM A CORRESPONDENCE COURSE?
With a traditional correspondence course, you place an order, then receive a physical copy of a training manual and a test through the mail. Online training is different because everything is done over the internet. You download a digital copy of the training manual; and when you are ready, you complete the tanning test online. Online training allows the entire process to be completed much faster than correspondence courses. Because it's all done via the internet, costs to the consumer are much cheaper than traditional correspondence courses.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Click on the link at the bottom of this page to get started with the online tanning certification program. You will be taken to an area to place your order. Shortly after you place your order, you will be issued a special link that will allow you to download a copy of the salon certification (solarium certification) manual. Read through this manual at your leisure. When you are ready, log back into our website and click here to begin taking the test. You will answer 50 questions. Once you pass with an 80% score or higher, you are done. We will send you a certificate of completion, noting your academic achievement. POLICY REGARDING ORDERS PLACED
Online certification brings some natural convenience for our customers. We appreciate your online orders for Tanning Dynamics certification, and want to facilitate convenient online training as much as possible. Here are some of our convenience rules regarding the use of our online tanning certification program. Substitutions are always allowedwithout any penalty of any kind whatsoever. If you as a salon owner, lose an employee after ordering a set of 10 online certifications, call us. We'll replace the name of the former employee with the name of the new employee, and grant the new employee access to take the test. If you do order multiple certifications, you don't have to give us all of the names the moment you place your order. We only need names prior to granting access to take the test, since they will need a unique user name and password. Let us know when you are ready and we'll grant a person by person access. Failure IS an option. Just like with our classroom certification events, you're allowed to fail the test initially. You are allowed to fail the test three times before one certification would be lost. To date, we have yet to have anyone fail the test three times, but three times is the official limit. It's rare that anyone would ever try to "cheat the system," but occasionally there are attempts. Cheating the system, whether with the payment method used or with unethical means of passing the test is grounds for loss of that certification, without refund. Online certifications are good for a full year from the date of purchase before they expire. Expired certifications will not be reinstated, refunded or extended. Unused and unexpired certifications are not returnable or refundable.
NOTE: Online training is not or is not yet approved as a means of completing certification requirements in the following States: Oregon, Louisiana, New Hampshire. Our online certfication program IS APPROVED in Florida, Ohio North Carolina and any other state where classroom training is not required.
